Angels Announcement
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring
you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is
born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this
shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes,
lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the
heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on
earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:10-14 (KJV)

the Realms of Glory)
To the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks, angels
appeared to announce the birth of Jesus. Today, we don’t need angels to appear
in the sky in order to hear the great news of Jesus. We have the Bible, our
church, fellow-believers, music, and so much more to know that God became man.
But, it’s worth noting 2,000 years after the fact; the celebration of Jesus
began in a lonely field, to lowly shepherds, who received the news through
perhaps one of the most spectacular displays ever seen by human eyes.
